Its been a long year

With not a lot of observing. A new camera has been acquire d- a ZWO ASI553 MC Pro. The observatory is also back in its normal configuration -with a triple scope setup - C11, 127mm Apo and 80mm Apo mounted side by side on the EQ8. The low altitude of the planets, coupled with next door's trees has meant little/no planetary imaging at all in 2020 and most likely in 2021 also. The C11 will be used for imaging the Moon and maybe smaller planetary nebulae and galaxies. Two evenings observing/imaging have so far been achieve in 2021. The first night was lost as the C11 was way out of collimation. In fact the collimation screws had been wound out so far, the secondary no longer made contact with its fulcrum as was flopping about inside the tube, held on only by a couple of turns of the collimation screws. This required daylight wok to remove the secondary to re-seat the the mirror. - my fault entirely
